Overview

Jim Harkins is an associate trial lawyer that has developed a particular interest in lawsuits involving arson/fraud insurance issues.   In addition, he defends construction companies in litigation involving construction defects.  He has been involved in all aspects of the litigation process, including pre-suit investigations, pleading practice, motion practice and appellate work. Jim particularly enjoys research and writing as it involves the appellate practice.  He has appeared in both the Missouri state courts and United States District courts.

Born and raised in Missouri, Jim attended law school at Ave Maria School of Law in Naples, Florida before returning to the St. Louis area.  Jim’s hobbies, include tennis, basketball, bowling, and fishing.
