Overview

John Brigg is a trial lawyer that looks forward to trying cases before a jury.  His entire career has been in the trial arena, and he has tried a wide range of cases including products liability, automobile accidents, construction, trucking, insurance coverage, and defense of first-party insurance lawsuits in both federal and state courts in Missouri and Kansas.  He also has extensive appellate experience, including arguing before the Missouri and Kansas Supreme Court, resulting is excellent results for his clients at the Appellate level. John’s more recent trials have resulted in a directed verdict for his contractor client based on the acceptance doctrine, successful defense of a client sued for fraud, conversion and violation of the Kansas Consumer Protection Act and successful defense of a tenant sued by its landlord and accused of negligently starting a fire leading fire damage to the warehouse. John is an active member in the Volunteer Attorney Project, Kansas Association of Defense Counsel and the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association.
