Megan R. Dean

Overview

Megan is an associate trial lawyer who focuses her practice on the defense of businesses, individuals, and insurers involved in lawsuits throughout Missouri. Megan’s area of practice is defending insurance clients and their insured in the areas of commercial and insurance coverage litigation and premises liability lawsuits. She handles all aspects of civil litigation through the trial process.

Prior to joining the firm, Megan graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law where she honed her advocacy skills through participation in Trial Advocacy. Megan also served on the UMKC Law Review Board as a Research Editor and was the Treasurer for Phi Delta Phi Legal Honors Society. Megan was also a member of the Association for Women Law Students. Prior to law school, Megan graduated cum laude from the University of Nebraska-Omaha with a degree. in Political Science and minor in Business and a concentration in Law and the Courts.

Megan resides and practices in Kansas City, where she enjoys watching Kansas City and KU sports, practicing yoga, and playing pickleball or golfing with friends.
