Richard D. Winders

Overview

Richard Winders represents clients involving business disputes, breach of contract matters, insurance coverage issues, and premises liability law. He has comprehensive experience conducting all aspects of litigation from strategy development, through the discovery and motion process, to successful resolution whether by dismissal, settlement, or trial.  In addition, Richard’s lengthy appellate experience includes published opinions before the Missouri Court of Appeals, Southern District.

Richard’s experience also includes associate general counsel corporate roles, in such matters as managing toxic tort, environmental, civil litigation, and labor and employment matters, and contract negotiation, among others. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Administration of Justice from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Creighton University School of Law, Omaha, Nebraska.

In his spare time, Richard may be found kayaking, picking up golf, following the St. Louis Cardinals, and other local sports teams.
