Principal Christine Lesicko has received one of the 2025 David J. Dixon Appellate Advocacy Awards from the Missouri Bar Foundation. Christine received her award at the Missouri Bar Annual Meeting in September.
Christine is the co-chair of the WWBH appellate practice group. She has briefed and argued more than 200 appeals in the Missouri Court of Appeals, Missouri Supreme Court, and United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Christine also practices in the Illinois Court of Appeals, Illinois Supreme Court, and United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
The Dixon Award was created by the Missouri Bar Foundation to recognize outstanding achievement in appellate practice by young lawyer members of The Missouri Bar. The award is named after the late Judge Dixon, whose tenacity, professionalism, and judicial skills epitomize outstanding appellate practice.
The award identifies and acknowledges those Missouri lawyers that excel in advocacy skills as observed by appellate judges within the appellate district in the State of Missouri, the Supreme Court of Missouri, and/or the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. One lawyer from each district of the Missouri Court of Appeals receives the award each year.
