In 2022, David Bub and his partner, Jeff Lester, represented one of the largest commercial property management companies in St. Louis in a case where the plaintiff claimed she became completely disabled due to injuries sustained as a result of toxic mold exposure in her apartment. Plaintiff had in excess of $900,000 in medical bills and $800,000 in claimed lost wages. The plaintiff sought $20,000,000 in damages including punitive damages. After a two-week jury trial involving over 30 witnesses and 10 medical experts, the jury found in favor of the defendant property management company. This is believed to be one of the largest defense verdicts in Missouri history.
